Bungy Jumping

The ultimate thrill of a Bungy Jump can be experienced at one of the best sites in the world. Nepal’s bungy jumping site is situated 160 meters over the wild river called Bhote Koshi. The site is located close to the Nepal-Tibet border at Barahbise and is a three-hour bus ride from the capital city Kathmandu. The stunning natural surroundings can make the jump almost a magical experience. Rafting on the Bhote Koshi River and Canyoning can also be organized as additional trips to Bungy Jump.

Canyoning

Canyoning is yet another extremely popular water-sport to explore the hidden landscapes. The canyoning guides will lead in abseiling, jumping and sliding down steep canyon walls and waterfalls to deep pools below.

Paragliding

Paragliding in Nepal gives an opportunity for aerial view of the Himalayas. It is the purest form of flying like a bird. Pokhara, the beautiful lakeside town at the foot of the Annapurna Mountains also offers paragliding services. A 20 minute jeep ride from Pokhara uphill to Sarangkot is the take off place. The three highest mountains in the world namely Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Annapurna and Mt. Manaslu can be seen from here. Obviously, the best season is from October through April.
There are three types of Tandem Flights available in Pokhara.

  • Cloud Buster – 20 to 30 minutes.
  • Cross Country – 1 hour approximately.
  • Acrobatic Flying – 10 to 20 minutes.
Ultralight Flight

Additionally, Ultralight flight offers a breath-taking bird’s eye view of Pokhara Valley and the surrounding Annapunra Himalayan range. Best season is from October through April. Flight takes place from sunrise to 11am and 3pm to sunset everyday. In the half-hour flight, one can fly over Pokhara city, Phewa Lake, Sarangkot hill and World peace pagoda. Likewise, the one hour flight will take to explore the Annapurna range above 12,000 ft or higher.

Zipline

Zipline has become yet another popular extreme activity available in Pokhara, Nepal.

Heli Ski
