The cultural heritage of Nepal has synthesized more in the Kathmandu Valley. The three major ancient cities namely Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur represent a harmony of elegant architecture and refined culture. These cities have a concentration of religious monuments unequalled in the world. There are a total of seven World Heritage Sites in the city, including at least fifty important shrines and temples in the Durbar Square alone.

Another dazzling attraction of Nepal is the festivals that come throughout the year enduring customs and beliefs. The southern lowland known as the Terai is covered with dense tropical jungles teeming with diverse wildlife and exotic birds that offers the exciting safaris. Itinerary

Reception by the Office Representative at the airport and we shall transfer you by our comfortable vehicle to a hotel located in the downtown followed by a short pre-trip meeting.

After breakfast, sightseeing tour of World Heritage Sites will be started by an experienced City Tour Guide. Tour includes to Swoyambhunath, Boudhanath, Pashupatinath and Patan Durbar Square. The entirely stone made Krishna Temple, three-storied golden temples and the three main courtyards of the Durbar Square are the main attractions of Patan. Then we drive back to our hotel.

After breakfast, we continue our tour of Kathmandu Durbar Square where we can visit the famous Kumari Ghar (Temple of Living Goddess) and the guide will give a short account of Nepal’s history and art related to the shrines and palaces located here. Then we continue our journey towards Bhaktapur. Bhaktapur is considered as one of the oldest cities in town and famous for the 15th Century Palace of 55 Windows and the artistic courtyards along with the Golden Gate and Pagoda style temples. When the tour is over, we will drive to Nagarkot about 20 kilometers far from Bhaktapur City for overnight rest. Nagarkot is a popular hill station and provides panoramic view of the Himalayas. The snow peaks look especially gorgeous during sunset and sunrise from here.

We'll awake early to witness the spectacular dawn and the first rays of the sun firing over the Himalayas from Kanchenjunga and Everest in the Far East to Annapurna and Dhaulagiri in the West. After this fantastic view, we sit back for a lovely breakfast. Then we take a drive for approximately 3-4 hours along the bank of the Trishuli River and meet the crew at Rafting site. Trishuli is an ideal beginners’ River. Lunch we'll be served after 3/4 hrs rafting at the riverside. After lunch, drive continues to Chitwan National Park. There will be a short briefing on the program and facilities after rooms are assigned. After dinner, we are ready to witness the typical cultural dance performed by local Tharu community. This cultural show is known as Tharu Stick Dance.

You will be given wake-up call followed by tea or coffee and tour starts with elephant back-ride safari to explore the jungle and wildlife where you will be able to see the one-horned rhinoceros, several types of deer, monkeys, wild boar, sloth bear, leopard and if lucky, the Royal Bengal tiger. This exciting ride lasts for 2-3 hours. After lunch, we are ready for canoe trip on the Rapti River. A traditional dug-out canoe takes you on a silent trip down the Rapti River to view aquatic birds and the animals of the river banks. We continue our excursion to EBC (Elephant Breeding Camp) to learn more about these fascinating animals on a visit to the elephant stable.

With the wake-up call followed by tea or coffee we are ready for a Nature Walk. This encounter on foot with the environment will introduce the main features of Chitwan. Sal forest, open grassland and reverie jungle. Our guides will help you identify some species of birds, plants and other wildlife that you may encounter with. Then we head back to our resort for a lovely breakfast. We have some free time for relaxation. After lunch, we take a jeep safari tour in order to explore the inner beauty of the forest. Depending upon the season, we are to opt to visit Crocodile Breeding Camp or Twenty Thousands Lake.

After breakfast, we proceed our journey to see the place where Gautam Buddha was born (623 BC). Lumbini is knowns as Lord Buddha’s birthplace, listed as World heritage site by UNESCO and symbol of world peace. We drive along the scenic highway through beautiful villages, forest and cross many streams. After rooms are assigned at the hotel, we start our tour with the visit of the Sacred Garden. The Sacred Garden where Buddha was born, Mayadevi temple was built where Buddha stepped first, Sacred Pond where Queen Mayadevi-Buddha’s mother had taken a bath before giving birth to Buddha. We can also witness some facts related to Buddha’s birth in Lumbini.

After breakfast, we visit different monasteries and temples built by different countries: Chinese monastery, Japanese monastery, Korean monastery, Tibetan monastery, Thai monastery, Shri Lankan monastery, Burmese (Myanmar) monastery, Indian and Nepalese monasteries. We stay overnight at the same hotel in Lumbini.

After breakfast, we continue our journey towards Pokhara via Tansen through the mountainous road. The view is simply beautiful and adventurous. We stop at Tansen for lunch and proceed to Pokhara. We pass through the beautiful cities, villages, forest, green hills and cross many streams on this scenic drive.

We drive to Sarangkot to witness the Himalayan panorama that dominates Pokhara City early morning. The towering Annapurna and the famous ‘Fishtail’ peaks are the highlights of this trip. We drive back to hotel for breakfast via the visit of sacred Bindhyabasini Temple. After breakfast, we will visit David Falls, Gupteshwor Cave and International Mountain Museum. We enjoy with a boat ride on the beautiful Fewa Lake where we can see the shadow of Mt. Fishtail over the Lake water. You are free to explore the colorful town in the evening.

After breakfast, we drive to visit the World Peace Pagoda. After capturing some beautiful memories, we drive to Bandipur. Bandipur is also known as the museum of Newari culture situated 7 km above Dumbre Bazaar at an altitude of 1,005 meters. Untouched by modernization and laced with an abundance of ancient houses, temples of great cultural values and historical architecture. We stay overnight in Bandipur.

We are now retracing our drive through the scenic Prithvi Highway on the bank of the Trishuli River and end our tour in Kathmandu. After refreshing and taking some rest, we will join the typical Nepali dinner with live cultural program. The show ends at 9PM and we are back to the hotel for rest.

This is the time to say good-bye and transfer to airport. Fly out Kathmandu with some beautiful memories. The drive from Thamel to airport takes about half an hour and needs to report 2 and half hours before the flight time.
