Blind Expedition 2010 to Everest Base Camp

A group of blind and partially-sighted people from Perth and Kinross are limbering up for a mission that will eventually see them climb to Mount Everest Base Camp.

The gruelling October trip is being masterminded by S-TEAM Challenge who has been working alongside the Perth and Kinross Society for the Blind.

The determined group of adventurers have already conquered several Munros during their training.

Their latest training day involved a 16 mile trek which was completed in 7 hours. Unthinkable a few weeks ago!
