Scottish Rock, Scrambling and Hillwalking |
|
From our base in Perthshire, we offer a range of activities in Scotland. These include hillwalking, scrambling and rock climbing. For our hillwalking courses we cover all of Scotland and are available to take private groups to any Scottish mountain range. Popular area’s are around the Cairngorms and Ben Nevis, Glen Coe and the Isle of Skye. Scrambling, again, takes place in all areas, however we focus a lot on the Cullin of Skye and all the classic scrambles. Our rock climbing courses are based from Perthshire but again, our instructors/guides travel where the best weather conditions are and this optimises your climbing time and allows all participants to experience a variety of rock types. Our courses cover safe climbing techniques, stance organisation, rope selection and use, placing protection, falling, catching, lowering, hauling, self rescue and assisted rescue. It is a technical course, where you will be working on steep ground, some indoor, some single pitch and multi pitched crags. We cater for beginners through to experienced climbers.
