All clients must have insurance cover when joining a Trekking Encounters trip. We will require confirmation that you have insurance cover and that the policy provides cover for the activities on your trip.

All clients must have the Stand Alone Safe Seat Plan insurance cover and this is included in the cost of your holiday.

For some of our treks extreme activity insurance will be required which covers activities at high altitude. This cannot be purchased directly through Trekking Encounters Limited but please speak to us about your specific insurance requirements for the trek. A company such as Snowcard Insurance Services Limited can provide you with your required insurance cover and they can be found at www.snowcard.co.uk

Appropriate extreme activity travel insurance, to include emergency medical cover, repatriation and air ambulance rescue expenses, is an absolute condition of joining specific treks. We will require a copy of your policy before you depart. You may have your own preferred insurer or annual multi trip cover in place already.

Please check carefully with your insurance company that your extreme activity travel insurance covers the needs of your trip.
