Trekking or hiking is a significant attraction in Nepal and has been offered since the 1960's. The two most popular treks in Nepal are trekking to Everest Base Camp and trekking either around Annapurna or the Annapurna Circuit, which goes right around the Annapurna Himalayan range. There are numerous other treks available in the Everest, Annapurna and Langtang regions. We offer treks to Gokyo valley, the Lake and the top Gokyo Ri where one can enjoy spectacular views of Mt. Everest, Cho Oyu and other Himalayan mountains. Other popular regions include the Langtang, Helambu, Makalu, Manaslu, Kanchenjunga, Dolpo and Rara. In western Nepal we specialise in classic and adventure treks. We can organise trekking over high passes for those who relish mountain challenges. You can also enjoy the cultural richness of Nepal en route by meeting some of the ethnic groups like Sherpa, Gurung, Rai, Thakali, and by viewing ancient monasteries, temples and sacred lakes on the different trekking trails. You could join our peak climbing trips to Island Peak, Mera Peak or Lobuche Peak. Alternatively, there are some expedition trips available to Baruntse, Amadablam and Cho Oyu.

Trekking In Nepal

Arun Valley and Salpa Pass trek is a blend of remoteness, adventure and natural beauty. This off-the-beaten and seldom visited trail links the popular Khumbu region with the Arun Valley having a unique ecosystem and the area is protected as Makalu-Barun National Park.

The Ganesh Himal region lies towards the north of Kathmandu Valley. The Ganesh Himal trail offers the spectacular views, untouched and wild natural beauty passing through the dense forest and meadows with small villages and the unspoiled Tamang culture.

Mount Dhaulagiri is the 7th highest mountain in the world. Dhaulagiri gets its name from the Sanskrit word 'Dhavala' which means 'White' and 'Giri' which means 'Mountain'. The Dhaulagiri Circuit trek is physically a demanding and off-the-beaten path trek.

Jiri lies at an altitude of 1,905 meters (6,250ft) and it is the traditional starting point of the world famous Everest Base Camp trekking. The Jiri-Everest Base Camp trail is the ideal route of the legendary mountaineers - Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay Sherpa.

Rolwaling Valley is named after the Mountain Rolwaling. Rolwaling Valley borders with the Khumbu region to the East, the Helambu region to the West and the dry Tibetan Plateau to the North of Nepal. We take a drive from Kathmandu to Barabise to start this trek.

Climbing & Expeditions

Pisang Peak is located in the Annapurna region of Nepal. The peak lies roughly in between two gigantic Himalayan peaks, Annapurna I and Manaslu. Pisang Peak rises above from Pisang village and yak pastures in a uniform slope of ice and snow to the final summit pyramid.

Mount Baruntse is an impressive and popular 7000 meter expedition peak among the climbers and it is situated in front of Mount Makalu in the Eastern Nepal, at the center of the three glacier valleys- Imja, Hunku and Barun and above the East and West Cols.

Mount Ama Dablam is located in the famous Khumbu region of East Nepal just above the Tengboche monastery on the way to Everest Base Camp. Mt. Ama Dablam expedition is technically demanding and has it all ice, rock and the great base camp in a meadow with a stream.

The Amphu Lapcha Pass in the Everest region is regarded as one of the most challenging and technical high passes in Nepal. This trek starts at Lukla and passes through the remote and wilderness trail, dramatic Amphu Lapcha Pass and ends back in Lukla.

Tharpu Chuli is also known as Tent Peak whose name is obvious when viewed from Annapurna Base Camp. This Peak was first climbed in 1956 by a Japanese expedition team. Tent Peak is a popular trekking peak and the views from the summit are truly magnificent.
