Trekking In Nepal

Mount Dhaulagiri is the 7th highest mountain in the world. Dhaulagiri gets its name from the Sanskrit word 'Dhavala' which means 'White' and 'Giri' which means 'Mountain'. The Dhaulagiri Circuit trek is physically a demanding and off-the-beaten path trek.

The Numbur Cheese Circuit route has been developed with the initiation of TAAN and many local organizations especially for the real adventure seekers to fulfill their needs of eco-trekking trails among the congestion of commercialized trekking trails.

Jiri lies at an altitude of 1,905 meters (6,250ft) and it is the traditional starting point of the world famous Everest Base Camp trekking. The Jiri-Everest Base Camp trail is the ideal route of the legendary mountaineers - Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay Sherpa.

The Helambu Village trail passes through two different national parks-Langtang and Shivapuri National Park. The trek begins at Sundarijal, only 12km far from the downtown and is a popular shorter trek available closer to Kathmandu and ends at Melamchi Bazzar.

Climbing & Expeditions

Tharpu Chuli is also known as Tent Peak whose name is obvious when viewed from Annapurna Base Camp. This Peak was first climbed in 1956 by a Japanese expedition team. Tent Peak is a popular trekking peak and the views from the summit are truly magnificent.

We have designed Island Peak or Imja-Tse climbing including a trek to the Everest Base Camp in order to provide some strength and acclimatization before the expedition. Mount Everest Base Camp is the most sought after trekking destination in the world.

Yala Peak is located in the Langtang Himalayan range of Nepal, protected as Langtang National Park. This peak is also considered as Nepal’s one of easier trekking peaks and often climbed along with its neighbouring Peak Naya Kanga or Ganja-la Chuli.

The Amphu Lapcha Pass in the Everest region is regarded as one of the most challenging and technical high passes in Nepal. This trek starts at Lukla and passes through the remote and wilderness trail, dramatic Amphu Lapcha Pass and ends back in Lukla.

Mera Peak is the highest NMA listed trekking peak in Nepal, situated on the edge of famous Khumbu region and boasts an absolutely stunning summit panorama that includes five of the world's 8000m peaks - Mt. Kanchenjunga, Mt. Makalu, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Cho Oyu and Mt. Everest.
